Terence and Debbie have been nothing but a blessing, and it's a privilege to have been able to cross paths with them in life. They just seem to be such complete people that are full on for God, and worthy carriers of the Cross. They stand out as a couple, as people and as friends. Thanks for everything you guys have been to me. How we got to know each other is weird but definitely not a coincidence. Well, and who would've thought this day would come?! It's such a joy to know that two brilliant individuals are going to be joined together in Holy Matrimony. The two of you are just phenomenal people, such pillars of strength. Terence - you're da man and always will be strong, devoted and inspirational. Debbie - lovable, sensitive and again, inspirational. Blessed marriage!
James Cheng, currently resides in Melbourne pursuing his Bachelor in Arts and Commerce. This drummer has a tendency to break the party with balls of laughters with his hilarious acting and jokes. Often be remembered with his “ice-cream” joke. His discipline in the Lord is remarkable and to be salute at. James owns a Taylor 810ce guitar.
Of course, we're pleased to say a few words about our niece. Debbie is always bubbling with the joy of the Lord, possesses an infectious enthusiasm and a very positive attitude, and is most reliable, to name but a few of her qualities. As for Terence, to say the least, he has a pleasant personality. Both Terence and Debbie are committed to putting Jesus Christ first in their lives - a fine example for young couples these days who struggle with worldly values and expectations.
Tony, Mee Mee and Justin are part of the closely knitted Chan clan. Malaysian born Australians, the trio have traversed through many countries and experienced a myriad of cultures. They now have their abode in Hong Kong and returns frequently for a wisp of local delights and family fellowship. Their lives have left lasting imprints in Deb's growing up years.
I've known Terence and Debbie for yonks, going back as far as 1997ish I think. Having been on countless mission trips, camps, sleepovers and the infrequent but enjoyable eating trips, I’ve grown closer and closer to them each step of the way. Terence has been a great blessing and a real "bloke" that has never failed to amuse people when he's around. From his weird lame jokes to his try hard sounding "aussie slang", he always puts a smile to people's faces. Ohh, not forgetting, he's also a fair dinkum :) As for Debbie, having been around her and her family has blessed me greatly. I’ve seen her grow into the beautiful soul she now is. It shows how God's hands has been upon her even before she was born. I will always remember the times we (Ah mah, Deb and I) had in Perth. Oh, by the way, that rock cake didn't taste that bad after all!) I cannot fully describe the times I've had with these mates of mine. Seeing two of my good friends coming together makes me glad and I pray that as they come together in marriage, they will be blessed and be a blessing to the people around them.
Julian Yeo has been Deb’s longest standing ‘Sai Lo’ and a ‘macha’ to Terence. He is a down to earth, born and bred, authentic Malaysian that has chosen Perth as his second home. He is well known for his hospitability and tour guide enthusiasm when you visit him in Perth. Just tell him how long your stay is and he’d make sure you’ve visited the ‘Best this… “ and the ‘Best that…” in Perth. Aside from that, Julian is really macho meano look alike but deep down he is a fun loving brother and friend.
